We were looking at Porsches the other day and stopped by Len Stoler Porsche in Owings Mills. Who doesn’t love Porsches, was our first thought and our second thought was which one would we want if we were going to become a Porsche buyer? We like all the Porsches, the 911, the Boxster, Cayman, Macan and the Cayenne, so it was hard to make a decision as to which one we would test drive because we only had a certain amount of time. After taking a look at each unique and beautifully designed Porsche we chose the Cayenne because it just seemed to be a bit more practical for our needs.
The 2017 Porsche Cayenne is actually one of Porsche’s best-selling cars and it’s easy to see why. It’s roomy and designed just the way you would imagine a Porsche to be – flawlessly. It’s comfortable, aerodynamic, everything you see is of the highest quality workmanship and it’s quick. This SUV is not only a Porsche but it is a luxury vehicle that almost makes you want to move in and live inside that quiet well appointed cabin that fits like a glove – that is, perfect in every way.
The Cayenne has eight trim levels: Cayenne, S, S E-Hybrid, GTS, Turbo and Turbo S, Platinum and S E-Hybrid Platinum Limited Edition models. They all come with great standard features such as alloy wheels, xenon headlights, automatic wipers, rear privacy glass, eight-way power seats, navigation system, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity along with a ten-speaker sound system and USB interface, just to name a few. Other options are available with each trim level.
The 2017 Porsche Cayenne has a lot of safety features as well: stability and traction control systems, antilock brakes, plenty of airbags, There is also a multi-collision brake system that will take control of your vehicle and slow it down to 6 miles per hour after a collision happens. This, of course, will prevent any further damage. Some of the other safety elements in the Cayenne are, front and rear parking sensors, lane departure warning, blind spot monitor, rearview camera and a surround-view camera.
