June is the month in which a lot of Hollywood studios release blockbuster movies, which means there are plenty of exciting movies being shown in theaters right now. If you are looking for something to watch, here are some of the top movies coming out in June.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (Opens June 3)

This is the sequel to the 2014 franchise reboot. This time around, Shredder escapes from prison and joins mad scientist Baxter Stockman, who plans to take over the world with a serum. Dimwitted henchmen Bebop and Rocksteady provide muscle for Shredder and Stockman, while the turtles get help from April O’Neill and Casey Jones.

Cast: Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Stephen Amell, Laura Linney, Noel Fisher.

Me Before you (Opens June 3)

This romantic drama is based on a book by the same name, and offers an alternative to the carnage and destruction of action movies that will occupy a lot of theaters. The movie is about a young quirky woman (Emilia Clarke), who works different jobs to help her family, becoming a caregiver for a young banker (Sam Claflin) who became paralyzed after an accident a couple of years ago. The two share a deep bond and their lives change in ways neither expected.

Now You See Me 2 (Opens June 10)

The sequel to the 2013 blockbuster picks up a year after the events of the first movie. The Four Horsemen (Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan) take the limits of magic to new heights when they come back to try and expose the unethical practices of a tech giant.

Warcraft (Opens June 10)

This movie is based on the very popular MMRPG. The realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war due to Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to take control of another. Two heroes are on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.

Cast: Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Rob Kazinsky, Clancy Brown.

Finding Dory (Opens June 17)

The sequel to the highly successful Finding Nemo’ is probably going to be one of the top grossing movies of the summer. This time around, Nemo and his father are helping Dory find her parents, who are in captivity.
